In considering support, preference is given to programs which:
-
Create long term solutions;
-
Are responsive to and have a positive impact on the community;
-
Promote excellence;
-
Have the capacity, through leadership, management and financial
resources, to achieve the desired results;
-
Are innovative and catalytic;
-
Have the likelihood of future support for on-going operating
costs;
-
Are non-competing with government programs; and
-
Are cooperative with other community resources/agencies.
Please note that this list is provided
for informational purposes only. As requests for grants far exceed
the Foundation's limited resources, nothing within these guidelines
should be construed as an inducement, guarantee, promise, or
contract of any kind.
