Who We Are
At the Hall Family Foundation, we are committed to enhancing the quality of human life in the Greater Kansas City area. With over $50 million invested annually, we strive to ensure that all members of our community can experience what is possible. Established in 1943, our mission is rooted in the vision of our founders—Joyce C. Hall, Elizabeth Ann Hall, and Rollie B. Hall. We are more than funders – we are strategic partners, investing in ideas that aim to address complex challenges and drive lasting impact.
A career at the Hall Family Foundation is an opportunity to be at the center of transformative change—building relationships, connecting the dots between issues and opportunities, and helping imagine, design, and advance strategic decisions that shape the future of our community.
The Hall Family Foundation is seeking a Program Officer who brings intellectual agility, strategic acumen, deep curiosity and a relentless pursuit of excellence. This role requires someone who can quickly assess opportunities, see connections, anticipate challenges, and make thoughtful, data-driven decisions to maximize impact.
The Program Officer will serve as a trusted community partner, developing a deep understanding of the region’s philanthropic landscape and working closely with grantees, civic leaders, and fellow funders to drive meaningful change. This individual will thrive in complexity, ask thoughtful questions, connect ideas and people with clarity and purpose, and exhibit the confidence to make tough but necessary decisions.
